Autonomous Engineered Living Materials for the Construction and Repair of Outdoor Built Environments

Our recent research project is an interdisciplinary, NSF-funded research Project involving five research labs which are Nelson Lab from Department of Chemistry,  Olánrewájú Lab from Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Proksch Lab from Department of Architecture at the University of Washington; Alper Lab from Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin; and Atsumi Lab from Department of Chemistry at the University of California Davis.
