Congratulations to Dr. Ana Paula Kitos Vasconcelos on her successful thesis defense yesterday! Dr. Nelson kicked things off with an introduction that had the whole audience DAB-ing! Which was a trend in pose at the after-party! Featured: Dr. Nelson, Dr. Gelb, and Dr. Kitos Vasconcelos.

Last Friday, Sahana presented her work from our lab at the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Last month, she also presented her work at MRS event in Hawaii and was nominated for the Best Poster! We are all so proud of her achievements and best of luck to her as she will continue her scientific journey at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill!!

This year, we're honored to keep our trophy as the Olympic champs in the epic showdown known as the Nelson vs. Golder Lab Olympics! We snagged the win with a whopping 11-point lead! Goooo Nelson Lab! This Year's MVP is Moto—3 Gold and 1 Silver! Big high-fives to all the winners, and a huge shout-out to everyone who joined the fun! We're already plotting our victory dance for next year!
